Along with the usage of RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) in various fields, amount of RFID data growth rapidly. Looking for effective RFID data management solutions is necessary. Cloud Storage is an emerging data management approach that combines virtualization and distributed technology, and can meet the requirements of large-scale data storage. Therefore, research on cloud storage techniques for RFID data is of great significance and practical value.In order to solve the issuse that exist in RFID data storage procedure, such as high-volume, redundancy and high variety, based on key technologies of cloud computing, a cloud storage solution for RFID data is designed and implemented, which consists of cloud storage infrastructure, data management, data retrieval and user interface. The Infrastructure as a Service provided by OpenStack, an open source project on cloud computing, is used to control and manage physical storage resources to realize schedule and distribute storage resource on demands. CouchDB distributed database cluster is used to achieve high-volume RFID data storage and retrieval, and improve efficiency of storage and retrieval. Web techniques are used to design and achieve a visual user interface that allows users and administrators to use and manage database conveniently.The testing results show that the proposed cloud storage solution is able to achieve high-volume data storage and retrieval, and meet the application requirements.
