Antennas are typically mounted on a carrier work, while the carrier will make the input impedance or radiation pattern and other radiation parameters changed significantly, affecting the normal work of the antenna, while the antenna as an important source of scattering of the carrier, so the analysis of the carrier platform antenna radiation and scattering properties is necessary. Analysis of the antenna have analytical and numerical methods, we use the numerical method- integral equation method of moments, the integral equation method of moments with the Green’s function itself satisfies the Sommerfeld radiation condition without absorbing boundary conditions that must be set as differential equations, and is not spatial dispersion errors exist, high-precision numerical results obtained. For metal target problem using surface integral equation method of moments, while the metal mixed media target problem using volume-surface integral equation method of moments.Firstly, we introduce the surface integral equation method of moments(SIE-MOM) which is use for the analysis of electromagnetic radiation and scattering problems of PEC. Firstly we give the surface integral equation(SIE) which is use for the analysis of electromagnetic radiation and scattering problems of PEC, and then using the method of moments(MOM) discretes the surface integral equation, namely the surface integral equation method of moments, and then it is introduced to solve the matrix equation, and then gives the formula of radiation parameters and scattering parameters, and finally we verified surface integral equation method of moments(SIE-MOM) algorithm correctness by radiation and scattering examples. Then, we use the surface integral equation method of moments(SIE-MOM) analyzing the impact of metal carrier platform for antennas radiation and scattering characteristics. Firstly we introduce feed model using for simulating the feeding port in the antenna radiation problems-Delta-Gap feed model, the magnetic current loop feed model and Finite-Width Fed model, and then using the surface integral equation method of moments(SIE-MOM), and using the above feed models analyze impact of input impedance and radiation pattern of metal carrier platform for dipole antenna, flat slot antenna, monopole antenna, pyramidal horn antenna, rotating parabolic antenna and other common antenna, indicating when analyzing the radiation characteristics of the antenna, the antenna must consider the impact of the carrier, and finally the surface integral equation method of moments(SIE-MOM) were used for analyzing the affect of scattering characteristics(RCS) of the metal carrier platform for these antennas. Finally, we introduce the volume-surface integral equation method of moments(VSIE-MOM) and use the volume-surface integral equation method of moments(VSIE-MOM) analyzing the impact of carrier platform for microstrip antennas radiation and scattering characteristics. Firstly we give the volume-surface integral equation(VSIE) which is use for the analysis of electromagnetic radiation and scattering problems of the metal mixed media target, then using the method of moments(MOM) discretes the volume-surface integral equations, namely the volume-surface integral equations method of moments, after solving the matrix equation obtaining the current value then verify the volume-surface integral equation method of moments(VSIE-MOM) algorithm correctness by scattering example, then we use the volume-surface integral equation method of moments(VSIE-MOM) analyzing the impact of carrier platform for microstrip antennas radiation and scattering characteristics, indicating when analyzing the antenna radiation and scattering properties, the antenna must be considered the impact of the carrier.
