Research And Implementation With Key Problems Of The Network Management System Based On SNMP

Under the background of the rapid development of society, the number of network access to the information infrastructure increases year by year, the structure of the network becomes more complex, the size is more big. And problems such as virus and network attack, makes the network management becomes more and more important. Based on this, the Internet architecture board(IAB) developed based on TCP/IP network management protocol, SNMP protocol. Simple network management protocol(SNMP) as part of the TCP/IP protocol suite, due to its simple practical and easy to realize, received wide support equipment manufacturers, has become the DE facto standard network management, application range is very wide.This thesis introduces the present situation and research significance of network management system, according to the need of a provincial meteorological network management system, through the analysis, introduced the SNMP protocol, put forward the design scheme, the design of the system and the main use of technology are introduced, to implement a network management system based on SNMP protocol. For the important and difficult problems in the development are analyzed and solved.Aimed at the application requirement of network topology, this paper proposes a three-layer network topology discovery based on SNMP agent mechanism method; Application "in a variety of ways, accurately find" strategy to ensure that equipment found that the efficiency and accuracy; By analyzing equipment changes after topology display the problem of inaccurate, devised a "real-time scanning" background service program to realize the data real-time updates. Gives the graphical network topology display model based on SVG technology, makes the topology display accurate, beautiful, and to achieve drag and hyperlink function.Finally, the implementation of network management system were tested, and summarizes the deficiencies. Project has passed the acceptance, as well, the basic reached the expected goal.
