Most enterprises and organizations claim professional towards compound talents with capability of innovation and learning, therefore, for a college, it’s nature to develop a comprehensive evaluation system to adapt itself to the trend of the age. Mover, it can also meet the demand of the professional by enterprises and organizations. By this means, the college can pave a new way of teaching and training student. With the development of computer science and network technology, the process of comprehensive evaluation for student can be simplified when a automatic evaluation system is set up, while the great gain from it is the justification of evaluation process can be guaranteed as the personal factors.The comprehensive evaluation for student is mainly operated manually in our country college and the evaluation model lacks further study, which is always designed unreasonable. Generally, the model is designed focusing on knowledge acquisition and professional practice, while it omitting the ability of innovation and learning. Moreover, the evaluation model emphasizes on comprehensiveness while pays little attention on hierarchy, and does not combines the particulars of college.With these, we design a new comprehensive evaluation system for college student characterized by emphasizing on evaluating the ability of innovation and learning. Difference from the traditional evaluation system, our evaluation system adds the ability of innovation and learning in the model and assigns them the computational weights. Based on this model, we develop an information system to make the comprehensive evaluation systemic, standardized and automatic.We first model the comprehensive evaluation for student with fuzzy mathematics by regards the evaluation items as a fuzzy set, in which the element of the set is defined as evaluation index. Furthermore, we decompose the comprehensive indexes in the fuzzy matrix as four evaluation items and assign them computational weights. With these, we develop the evaluation information system following software engineering method. The system is designed as B/S architecture and developed with C# programming language in.NET Framework platform, of which the database is adopted as SQL Server 2005. We make the work flow based on the analysis of traditional manual evaluation process. We make the requirement analysis and then design the evaluation system as five modules. Moreover, we design the procedure of the five modules and implement them as an information system. We make the software test on the system and the results show that the function of the system can meet the goal of our design.
