As the use of wireless mobile communication in life become more and more wide, requirements of next generation wireless communication have become more and more sophisticated on speed, performance and so on. How to make effective use of spectrum with limited spectrum resources became popular research. Network coding with device-to-device communication, as cooperation transfer technologies, are proposed in order to increase the spectral efficiency of cellular communication systems.In order to improve the performance of wireless communications, D2 D technology is introduced into next generation of cellular communication. Main advantages of D2 D communication are: decrease of the cellular communication system load, reducing the battery consumption of phone, increase of communication speed, enhancing robustness of cellular communication, and providing new communication service. Therefore, the design of an efficient D2 D communication, and combining with relative technologies to improve the superiority of D2 D, is a key problem that needs to be addressed.Based on the study of D2 D communication, the thesis introduces relative technologies to further improve the superiority of D2 D. And the thesis gives modified communication scheme for the special situation after deep research.Firstly, the thesis introduces the network coding and relay technologies in D2 D communication, to further expand the D2 D range of communication. As the smart phone becomes more and more powerful, we study the case of smart phone as relay node. With smart phone cellular user as relay node, the thesis gives one modified D2 D communication scheme with network coding and relay. Using the Monte Carlo simulation, the thesis proves that the mentioned scheme can enlarge range of D2 D communication, as well as improving the performance of D2 D users and cellular relay node.Then, the thesis further introduces adaptive network coding and spatial modulation in D2 D communication with network coding and relay, to further improve D2D’s performance. The thesis studies the performance gain after intruding adaptive network coding and spatial modulation. And the thesis introduces and handles different spatial modulation for the different number of receiving antenna. Through Monte Carlo simulation, combining D2 D with adaptive network coding and spatial modulation, is proved to be one effective way to improve D2 D communication performance.Lastly, the thesis discusses the D2 D implement in LTE-Advanced system. Considering the engineering technologies of LTE-Advanced, the thesis proposes some relative D2 D communication discovery scheme and D2 D setup mechanism, as well as giving implement process in detail.
