The Design And Achievement Of Web Application Automation Testing System Driven By Object-oriented Testing Case

With the popularization of Web technology, the complexity and scale have increased quickly, which applied higher requirement for the reliability of application system. The automated testing became the preferred solution of Web application testing as the effective means of reducing testing cost and improving efficiency. However, as the Web application has the characteristics of fast-changing in demand, complex interface, diverse scenes and frequent interaction, together with the problems of complex testing script, high cost maintenance and difficult to guarantee the testing coverage, which made that the traditional software testing method and technology cannot adopt the challenge of Web application testing. Therefore, how to design and achieve efficient Web application testing system has become an eager problem.To solve this problem, analyse the Web application automation testing method based on the characteristics of Web application testing, and focus on the design and control of testing script. The main research is described as follows:1, Adopt XML as the test case storage media to achieve editing with any text tool, which makes parsing more simple and easy to use. What’s more, avoid the limitation of using database storage without developing additional editing management program.2, Making full use of the testers’familiar with the business,design the testing case based on the testing data, testing behavior and testing procedure with object-oriented technology. Then, increase the reusability of automation testing case and manual testing case to reduce the design technical barriers.3,Parse the testing case with a universal module and produce dynamic testing case. Then control the execution of testing case by scheduling program and produce the testing report on the base of final execution result.The innovation of this paper is object-orientedof the test case, which makes the automation testing system mort simple and easy to maintain and achieves the fusion of manual execution and automation testing. Control the execution of module testing by profiles to improve the availability and usability of automation testing.On the base of studying the existing automation testing technology, the automation testing method driven byobject-oriented testing case is proposed, which has reduced the difficulty of automation testing case design and the cost of testing script maintenance and has increased efficiency greatly. The research result has shown its efficiency and feasibility in the simulation.
