With the appearance and development of weibo, the journalist have one more channel to spread their articles and viewpoints, and they may become a concern or discussion amongst the news media and the public. The image of reporters have changed a lot that reporters transitioned from a simple recorder to the sponsor and participant in a event.At present, most users of journalists’ weibo are men and most of them range from 41 to 60. The area distribution of reporters who use weibo and media development degree are positively correlated. Compared with normal user,journalists often have more followers and influence, and they use weibo more frequently. This paper uses content analysis of journalists’ weibo to analyze the image of reporters and sums up the four meets their image: professional journalist doing objective reporting and uncovering the truth, actor in public service activities who has strong sense of social responsibility, reality critics who focus on social contradictions and solve social problem, and public opinion guide who leads public opinion correctly with rational analysis.During the profound reading of journalist’ media image in their personal weibo,it’s apparently that the development of new media bring both opportunities and challenges. The quality of some reporters differ in thousands of ways and some of them are lack of work ethics. As a consequence, there are many matters when journalists use weibo, such as low quality weibo, fake news, emotional blog article,moral decline. And these matters cause the deviation between the audiences’ cognition of reporter’ media image and the reporters’ subjective construction. What’s more, their words power is being weakened and audiences are like to start thinking set. These factors cause that the reporters’ media image have a negative consequence.Today, journalistic professionalism still can apply to reporters, and it is the most important determinant of the audiences’ impression of reporters’ media image. As a consequence, the journalist should do in-depth investigation to improve the quality of news, be based on facts to insure objectivity and independence while commenting,remain a good interaction with audiences and avoid stereotypes, use the specification language, reinforce self-restraint. Only in these ways can reporters build their good media image in weibo.
