《Higher Education》,published by Information,Center for Social Sciences,RUC, is one of the largest and most authoritative publication of secondary literature in China at present. As providers of knowledge and indispensable elements of the papers, the authors can not only reflect the distribution of academic resources, but also can refract the status of intellectuals around the academic circles. The study researches2523articles which were full-reprinted by 《Higher Education》 and the1656anthors in between2004-2013based on bibliometric method, social network analysis method and content analysis method, also discusses the papers amount, personal circumstances, coauthored phenomenon and co-feature within the coauthored network etc. The main results of this study include the following aspects:1.The papers amount of 《Higher Education》 has a trend of diminishing. The scope of source journals is narrowing gradually eventually lead to focus on the key journals.2.The more papers amount count, the fewer anthor quantity has, and the highest single amount is21.82.19%anthors have just one paper, higher than Lotka normal value.3.There are114core authors, their papers take27.7%in the total, less than Price normal value, and the amount of the papers written by these authors shares a positive correspondence relationship with the quality of their affiliations.4.Some authors’ papers quantity remains stable interannualjust like Pan Maoyuan,Hu Jianhu etc.,but some fluctuates a lot, like Wang Jianhua,Liu Haifeng etc.5. Anthors with doctorates degree or with senior titles occupy the most part of the author group. All of the anthors come from379different units, but most of them belong to the key university research institutions.6. The average rate of coauthored is35.9%and it is on the rise, with an average of1.47degrees of cooperation.it shares little differences in compare with the similar journals of domestic.but significantly lower than the coauthored rate of science and engineering journals.7. The dimensions of cooperation is mainly2people,the amount of papers diminishes as the co-authored number of people increases. The most significant relationship between the signatured co-authors is the teacher-student relationship.and within this phenomenon, signed former teacher, the students signed after is overwhelming.8.The co-authorship network density of 《Higher Education》 is0.0006, indicating that the network is a sparse network with low density.9.1n Coauthorship network Shen Hong and Pan Maoyuan are in the highest degree centrality, which indicates that they are co central figure in the network.but there is no S ignificant correspondence between the person in the the high degree centrality and the core of the top-ranking.Ding Xiaohao has the highest betweenness centrality,it represents that he works as the connectiong between different authors and owns aboundant of manpower resource.10.In the analysis to subgroup,we find that it exists serious "small circle" phenomenon in Higher Education co-authorship network.Within the circle, the structural is stabel, but the relationship between the subgroups is strange.
