Propaganda work has always been emphasized by the KMT and the C.P.C.Before the broadcast,which is the new medium spread to China, the propaganda workof the KMT and the CPC’s are rely on the traditional medium, like newspapers andmagazines. After the birth of broadcast in China it became an important propagandatool of the KMT and the CPC propaganda work with its high speed, wide spread,without the constraints of strength. China was in the smoke of war during1937-1949,and the consensus always accompanied by the war, every war has two battlefields:one is full of artillery fire, while the other is the propaganda without smoke ofgunpowder. As a sharp weapon in the propaganda battlefields, the broadcast played animportant advocacy role. During the Anti-Japanese War, the content of the broadcastpropaganda for the KMT and the CPC were Anti-Japanese War, and it made anindelible contribution to seize the victory of the war. During the people’s liberationwar, the reason of the people’s liberation army’s victory, especially that was weakerthan the KMT army, include: the heroes’ great efforts, command properly and otherreasons. Meanwhile, the propaganda work of broadcast on the battlefield of publicopinion also played a crucial role.Research on the KMT and the CPC’s broadcast propaganda work, can not onlyrealized how the broadcast played a role during the KMT and the CPC propagandawork,but also summed up experiences and lessons from both of them broadcastingpropaganda work. What’s more, it is of great practical significance to guide the party’spropaganda work.This paper include the following four chapters:The opening is the introduction, includes the significance and the summaryresearch of this topic,as well as the definition of related concept. The first chapter briefly reviews the birth of radio broadcasting in China and thebroadcast propaganda of the KMT before the Anti-Japanese War. Including theintroduction of the birth of radio broadcasting, the establishment of the KMTbroadcasting, synchronize with political and the calls for Anti-Japanese War’sbroadcast propaganda.The second chapter is the broadcast propaganda of the Anti-Japanese War.Including the KMT and the CPC’s broadcast propaganda, which the main content arearound the Anti-Japanese War. Furthermore, this chapter also demonstrates thepropaganda of the KMT about anti-CPC.Chapter three is about the broadcast propaganda for the war of liberation. Themain content included the broadcast propaganda of the KMT and the collapse of it’sbroadcasting career in mainland.The fourth chapter summarized the KMT and the CPC’s broadcastingpropaganda work, which includes the comparison between the KMT and the CPC’sbroadcasting propaganda work and the modern enlightenment about the two party’sbroadcasting propaganda work.
