In recent years, WSN has been developing rapidly, and has practical value in urban management, environmental monitoring, industrial production and distribution network monitoring and other fields. Its main job is the data transmission between sensor nodes. With the continuous expansion of the application’s scope, solving the energy consumption, efficiency and deployment problems which are caused by data transmission conflict effectively become particularly important. Therefore, this paper aims to solve the problem of data conflict on WSN.The research of this paper mainly aims at the conflict problem on wireless sensor network, designs the research methods and integrates them together into a strategy which can effectively be applied. Firstly, the research has studied on classification of them by analyzing the characteristics of WSN protocols in each layer, designed a method to avoid conflict based on cross-layer congestion control technology at the node level scale and used the simulation experiment to analyze the effectiveness of the method. Secondly, the research has studied the S-MAC backoff mechanism by in-depth analysis of MAC protocol, improved the relevant parameters and redesigns the system flow, achieved the new backoff process design in the link-level; In the simulation comparison, its collision rate is reduced and it gets a promotion in the performance of throughput and energy consumption; Thirdly, the research has proposed general and specific theory for the strategy application by the analysis and summary in some types of applications for WSN; And it has described how to use the strategy by changing and increasing some things with a application of WSN in distribution network monitoring. Finally, the research has designed a simple software based on C/S to collect all kinds of unknown application’s feature and used artificial decision to integration strategy.
