With the development of Internet of Things technology, the technical conditions to change the traditional exercise model and conduct Sports and Fitness Management are equipped. Through the combination of traditional fitness equipment and wireless sensor network, realizes the intelligent identification, connection and information services between people and fitness equipment, fitness equipment and intelligent terminals (smart televisions, mobiles, tablet computers etc.), which bring development possibility for creating a new type of interactive and personalized health promotion business model.Aimed at the present situation of the long-lasting problems in indoor fitness exercise, and combined with the research of Wei Shaoxiang education fund project "The Construction of iSports Interactive Health Promotion Platform", this paper proposes ITIHP (an Interactive Health Promotion Platform based on Internet of things). ITIHP makes the fitness equipment intelligent, realizing an interactive exercise model with entertainment; at the same time, it creates an efficient health promotion system based on the monitoring of exercise data, which greatly promotes interactive entertainment and scientific validity of indoor fitness exercise, and explores for the integration of the health data model of future mobile Internet.The main work of this paper is as follows:1. Designs the system structure of ITIHP and realizes layered architecture of it.2. Realizes an intelligent system of fitness equipment, which equips the equipment with the abilities of data collection and wireless connection.3. Develops a data transfer software to implement the functions of receiving, displaying, sharing and uploading data.4. Adopts the cloud database to store exercise data and provide data interfaces for upper-layer applications.5. Develops several interactive exercise applications to improve interactive entertainment for exercise.6. Develops a Multi Control application to make any smart mobile can turn on and off the interactive exercise applications.7. Develops a sports health management system (including Web and mobile terminals), providing a displaying and managing platform for sports data and realizing that the health experts can give health guidance to the clients.
