Design And Implementation Of Tactical Data Link Network Plan System

Tactical data link is a tactical information system which can transport and distribute formatted message in the complex battlefield electromagnetic environment. It is also an important tool to achieve the reliable and secure transmission of digitized battlefield information in real-time. In the data link network, information is transmitted and exchanged automatically in a confidential manner according to the prescribed format. Thus the information sharing could be achieved which can provide timely and accurate combat situation for commanders and help them make decision quickly and correctly throughout the theater. Tactical data link network planning is not only the key of network management, but also the basis for tactical data link network. In order to achieve reasonable use of resources and ensure security of network, tactical data link network planning need an overall plan based on specific operational environment.This work focused on Link16tactical data link, the time division multiple access of no central node was used in the Link16to network. The factors which need to be considered in the planning process of Link16data link network were summarized in the paper. The resource management and slot allocation scheme based on a binary tree were described according to the constraints of tactical data link slot resource allocation. What’ more, the access delay of different access modes was analyzed. According to the research of Link16, a demand-driven tactical data link network planning process was highlighted and tactical data link network planning platform was designed. The platform can speed up the network planning process and improved the efficiency of data link network.The research work of Link16data link network planning could help to the design and optimization of tactical data link which had important reference value.
