In the field of energy utilization, solar energy as a kind of green renewable energy is playing animportant role. With the constant improvement of the government’s attaches to the energyconservation and the development of solar thermal’s encouraging policy releasing, solar hot waterengineering market is developing rapidly. But the domestic solar-thermal projects still has problemssuch as widespread regional distribution, lack of regulation, running data missing, energyconservation data missing and so on. At the same time, the monitoring system’s carrying capacity,communication reliability and user experience has great room to improve. So there was great valueto develop a set of remote monitoring and energy metering system of solar energy, also the systemhad considerable research value for engineering to improve the efficiency of solar energy andoptimize the system control.This paper aims to develop a set of remote monitoring and energy metering system which cancommunicate with hundreds of hot water engineering systems. In extreme cases the system canimplement carries nearly thousand data requests per second, data acquisition, monitoring andmeasuring, fault alarm diagnosis, data statistics, energy audit of public and other functions, thereliable data support energy conservation, optimization efficiency and the government’s subsidies.Based on expounds the principle of the solar system, and fully analyzing the system’s functionrequirements, we introduce the system’s software architecture, function module design and the coretechnology’s implementation. We used the IOCP completion port technology to solve the problemof high concurrent requests on the server side, and through improving the communication protocolprocess, strengthening the real time communication.Completed the high concurrency data server software and the remote monitoring platformsoftware and energy metering web’s design and development. Combined the three softwaretogether, and put forward the complete solution above the problems.At the end of the paper given the system’s practical application in a real hot water engineer. Itproved that the system can run stably, and has good extendibility and load capacity. The designaccords with the actual demand.
