In the field of communication, in order to ensure the quality of information transmission and overcome the interference of the channel noise, we use the channel coding technology. Not only guarantee the availability of the transferring information, and also ensure the reliability of the transferring information. With using the technique of channel coding, it comes the technology of coding identification. Channel coding identification technology refers to identify the parameters of the coding sequences received under the situation of unknown or known part of prior knowledge, this technology will be applied extensively.This paper research the technology of the blind identification of the convolutional code. First, introduce the encoding and properties of linear block codes and convolutional codes; then, introduce several current mainstream blind identification algorithm, and analyze their deficiencies; finally, according to the weakness of the traditional Walsh-Hadamard methods which are requiring priori knowledge and large in computing capacity, we put forward a improved algorithm, identified the code length, information bit length, and the length of register before taking the Walsh-Hadamard analysis method, so achieve the effect of blind recognition, at the same time using the fast Walsh-Hadamard transform algorithm instead of the traditional algorithm, reduce the amount of calculation. Through the simulation analysis, the improved algorithm not only achieves blind identification but also reduces the calculation greatly, and achieves the real-time effect.
