With the changing times, the rapid development of media technology, network media, represented by the rapid growth of new media, and its mode of transmission of the participatory rights of choice given to the production and audience, using the media to enhance the audience’s initiative. Media is changing people’s lives, the initiative to enhance the audience’s media use, more proactive use of media to transmit information, to become actively spread the subject of media use.The new proposed current mainstream media, the positive, and the audience on the motivation to achieve under the corresponding demand media content as the leading media content, which in the development of a practical level, but also to provide for the study of possible positive audience. Media as an extension of the human body, but also to improve the requirements for the audience, and to spread the use of the subject in the media should play a more active force to promote media development and construction. So, actively spread the subject of how media usage should be the first step in their research.Early communication field of vision the audience once there is a negative tendencies, Birmingham school "active audience theory" is put forward to promote the active steering of audience research. And achieve happiness theory, based on theory of achieve happiness actively spread the main body of media use motivation to explore, to promote the audience research to the communication effect level.College students as the research object, this paper take the combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, mainly by literature analysis, questionnaire, depth interview and case analysis, to actively spread media use motivation on the subject based on the theory of achieve happiness. Findings showed that: first, to achieve high overall level of well-being of the student population, which features individual level to achieve above average total score, the overall trend is good. Second, college students based on the well-being to achieve the primary motivation is to use media personality show, followed by the order of the potential perception, self-discovery, intellectual pursuit and purpose in life. Third, motivation level girls than boys use media, media use higher motivation level undergraduate students, media arts students science students use higher motivation level. Fourth, the college students achieve happiness and achieve significant correlation based on the well-being of media use motivation to achieve higher levels of well-being of college students, the more intense the Realization of happiness based on media use motives. Fifth, to achieve high levels of total average packet functionality and low motivation level grouping of media use exactly the same sort of media groups use high motivation levels were significantly higher than the low group.In this study, combined with the historical background, and to spread through the body to build a theoretical framework for the use of the media to achieve a positive spread on the subject of happiness based on the motivation to study, resulting in a better grasp of media content to strengthen the construction of basic motivation of the use of media audiences, to promoting "positive energy" transmission, push the audience actively and orderly use of the media to promote a positive and healthy development of the media environment.
