The emergence of the Internet makes the information increased dramatically, the content became diversity and ever-changing. When the users facing of the mass of information, it’s hard for them to obtain the desired content efficiently, resulting in the reduction of the information usage. One solution is improving the usability of the website. To increase users’ interest of web pages and help users get effective information. The key point is the layout of the content of web pages, the correct way layout can improve the user reading efficiency.Another way allow the users to obtain information passively, and that is the personalized recommendation system. It first gets the user’s interest preferences, and then recommends information to the user by computing from the personalized recommendation model. One of the most central part of is the recommendation algorithms, the current recommendation algorithm including the collaborative filtering algorithm, the content-based recommendation algorithm, the social networking recommendation algorithm, the network structure-based recommendation system , and the mixed recommendation method Although all these methods have applications, but there are irresistible drawbacks, the collaborative filtering recommendation algorithms the social networking recommendation algorithm have problems of cold start, scoring sparse, and algorithm scalability; the content-based recommendation algorithm has the issues of the computational cost expensive, hard to update new recommended information, immature technology and other issues; cold start problem also exists in network structure-based recommendation system,In view of the above difficulties, if there is the hotspot, it can provide the theoretical basis for the layout design of the web, also a real-time method to extract user preference. And it makes the services of the personalized recommendation simple and efficient. If a there is the hotspot when the user is browsing or searching the Internet, we can assume that the contents of this region is the user’s interest, as long as the user stops scrolling the page up to a certain time, we immediately extract information from this area, this method both narrows the scope of information extracting and achieves the requirements of instant accessible.However, is there the hotspot when the user is browsing the web pages? Is the distribution of the hotspot consistent when different users are browsing different pages? Are there other factors that influence the position of the hotspot? To answer these questions, the paper choses the distribution of screen hotspot for the study, to explore the hotspot when the user is browsing a web page by using eye tracking method, to discuss and analyze the factors which affect the distribution of the hotspot.The screen hotspot of web pages is a the new study, this paper summarizes the user browsing behavior, the web hotspot, and eye tracking experiments at home and abroad, introduces of a new taxonomy of web page layout for applying eye tracking experimental materials. Then the paper conducts the variance analysis by using analysis software to discover facts which affect the distribution of the hotspot. Finally, we propose the personalized recommendation process based on the results of the experiments.
