Biochemical industry occupies an important position in the national economy, however, the production process is complex, and the reaction process is irreversible, once something unexpected appear, it will generate a large number of waste, and even pose a threat to the safety of field staff, so it is very important to monitor the biochemical process and to study the fault diagnostic. This topic is from the national natural science fund project "Adaptive modeling of biological processes based on data and the study of multi-objective optimization control(project number: 61173071)" and the project of innovative talents of colleges and universities in Henan Province "Fault diagnosis of biochemical process and the study on condition monitoring based on the data(project number: 2012HASTIT011)", main content and achieve results as follows:(1) First, through the production process and control principles study of biochemical processes, a overall design scheme about the combination of master computer and lower machine, joint utilization of industrial PC and touch screen is built, which is in full knowledge of the functional requirements and project monitoring system based on demand.(2) The control system of slave computer is designed with Siemens PLC-700 as the core. A external signal acquisition and processing method is designed. And the PLC control system is completed through a combination of PLC and frequency inverter, which realized the control of rotary speed.(3) Master computer control system has been successfully designed based on configuration technology. The PC configuration engineering is completed with the MCGS general version and the configuration engineering of the touch screen is completed with the MCGS embedded version. The construction of real-time database, the equipment configuration, the design of man-machine interface and scripts are all completed in the configuration environment. The real-time communication of the system is realized by using the industrial Ethernet, completing the connecting between slave computer and master computer.(4) The online fault diagnosis is achieved by using support vector machine. Through the research on the classified algorithm of support vector machine and combining with the characteristics of biochemical process, a method of fault diagnosis based on support vector machine is proposed. By using the standard interface of OPC, it could send the results back to the MCGS configuration software, and then the results would be displayed on the man-machine interface.(5) It is proved that this design can accurately monitor the important variables of the system by experiments, such as temperature, dissolved oxygen, pressure, p H and so on, and can diagnose the corresponding fault, which proved the effectiveness of the proposed design. It has a certain practical significance and application value to improve the level of automation of biochemical process monitoring.
