The Visualization Analysis Of International Sport Event Based On Mapping Of Knowledge

As a product of human society and cultural activities, sporting events representatives the development of human civilization. Recently, with the continuous development of the global sports industry, increasing number of sports events are held, which also attracted the academic attention. However, research that analysis international sporting events comprehensive and systematic is less in the current study; Simultaneously, the theoretical system is not perfect enough.In this paper, citation analysis, co-citation analysis and word frequency analysis are used to analysis literature of sporting events which include 3430 international literature and 1337 domestic literature; Then, knowledge maps are generated to explore the general characteristics of the research about international sports events, the hotspot, frontier evolution and future development are also be studied. The results show that:From 2000 to 2015, the published literatures about International sporting events increased firstly and then decreased, just like the inverted u-shaped curve. From 2005 to 2012, the published paper of international sports event undergo rapid growth in the first six years. After that, the published paper is decreased; At the same time, We find that Colleges and universities are a major force in international sports competitions research; In these universities, the American universities is dominated; Also undoubtedly, most of paper about international sports event are wrote by American. Similarly, the paper about sports competitions have also gradually increased in domestic, the colleges and universities are also the main research power.The hotspot of present international sporting event research mainly includes sports, performance, training, events, football, influence, model, risk, physical activity, prevention, etc. The research themes are broadly in the evolution of research frontier, a lot of keywords about international sporting event was appeared from 2000 to 2007, study of sporting event study was decline, the research of international sporting event began to perk up from 2012-2015. The domestic research of sports events included sporting events, large sports event, the Olympic Games, sports management, sports industry, sports, competitive sports, sports economy, the television rights, sports channel, etc., scholars pay more attention to Impact of sports events on the economy, research scope mainly focused on the economy.The literature of international sports events can be divided into three cluster, each of them represent a research direction of international sporting events. It can be found that highly cited literature mainly focus on impact of sports on sudden death in young athletes, sports economy and sports project technology, etc. Domestic research of sports events mainly studies the classification of the large sports events, risk, operations, present situation and the commercial value.The study of international sporting event will be more widely in the future, at the same time, the scope of the research also will be more in-depth, and will involve more aspects of the sports events. However, the study of domestic sports events will continue to focus on the economy aspect, and sports broadcast media will also be pay attention, media and sports marketing research will be strengthen.
