C-RAN architecture, a new type of green wireless access network architecture, realizes resources sharing and dynamic scheduling by reducing the number of base stations and the energy consumption, and by adopting the collaboration and virtualization technology, so as to increase the spectrum efficiency, reduce the operating costs, and improve the system performance. Considering the correlation characteristic of the tasks in the baseband pool and the parallelization feature of the signal in Co MP technology, centralized resource management will complicate the task scheduling. Therefore, an associated task scheduling mechanism in high efficient becomes urgent and important in C-RAN networks.At the first, we introduce the virtualization technology and its applications in C-RAN architecture. And the deployment issue of virtual resources on physical resources in the baseband pool is analyzed. We list some common algorithms of task scheduling and present the practical application of the genetic algorithm in associated tasks scheduling.Then, from the perspective of task correlation, we propose an associated tasks scheduling mechanism based on differential configuration of virtual baseband pool. On the strength of the current communication protocols, task modules in the baseband pool are associated in order and can not be scheduled in the traditional distributed method. In this paper, all virtual machines(VMs) in the baseband pool are classified into several clusters and VMs in different clusters are configurated differently according to the task requirements. In addition, VMs in the same cluster are configurated uniformly. Then the task scheduler dispatches tasks to the VMs in the corresponding clusters according to the properties of the tasks. In this method, the efficient scheduling and processing of associated modules are completed.Finally, considering the characteristics of the Co MP technology in C-RAN baseband pool, we put forward a related tasks scheduling mechanism based on Co MP synchronization. Because of the distance difference and multipath time delay, problems such as delay difference and frequency offset exist among the multiplex parallel signals generated from the set of collaboration RRUs. In order to do the data merging in time after the operation of these associated modules, we realize synchronous processing of serial modules such as carrier synchronization and channel estimation. Then the task scheduling mechanism above is verified by the parameter of root-mean-squared(RMS) delay.
