Indoor environment (including office, laboratory, home etc.), as an important space for people to work in, study in and live in, it is increasingly required to monitor its safety. With the rapidly developing of technology, especially the development of the Internet of things.Indoor Intelligent monitoring system which combines wireless sensor network, automatic control, network communication and other technologies, has achieved remote control of device while satisfying safety monitoring. It has become the trend of interior monitoring technology.Considering of the office, laboratory, home and other interior application scenarios, a kind of Indoor intelligent monitoring system based on the Android platform and ZigBee technology is designed in this paper. The smart phone is used as the communication gateway in the system. On the one hand, the phone makes communicate with the users in the form of mobile Internet and SMS; on the other hand, the phone takes responsible for serial communication with CC2531 wireless nodes and OTG technology, controls various field applications modules through ZigBee Network of CC253X.Many modules are designed in this system, including remote switch control module, learning-type infrared remote control module, human security module, gas acquisition Module, temperature and humidity acquisition module and fire alarm module. In addition, designing a kind of integrated mobile video surveillance system combined with the IRobot sweeping robot and the gateway mobile phone by using its HD camera. According to the actual needs, users can match different modules flexibility by using the powerful capabilities of ZigBee ad hoc networks.Finally, the application of system function modules and network connections are tested in the laboratory environment and the results are analyzed in the paper. The results show that: in a domestic environment, the system designed has a good applicability, which can meet the surveillance requirements. In the chapter of summary and outlook, it noted that the system can be well used in the laboratory environment through the appropriate selection and combination, and optimized design can be applied to industrial control areas for further consideration.
