Research For ERP System Of Developing Zone Based On Workflow

In modern enterprise, function-oriented enterprise management information systems have made great contribution to the high efficiency of the business operation. When the enterprises face more pressure during their development, process-oriented computer application systems, which aim to increase the efficiency of business process, become more and more important. Workflow management system functioned as a process-oriented computer application, becomes more and more popular in enterprise management.For the incessant changes of business process on development zone ERP system (such as policy reasons or in order to improve production efficiency), traditional function-oriented management information systems fails to satisfy those requirements while the workflow management system could well accomplish them.With the design and implementation of a asset management system in a development zone ERP system, this paper studies the application of workflow in a real enterprise management system. The execution of this paper follows the steps of the standard UML modeling process including create use-case diagrams, class diagram, sequence diagram, collaboration diagram, activity diagram, statechart diagram, component diagram, deployment diagram. This study also solves a series of practical problems, such as simplify and optimize the activity diagram; design the data interface between the ERP sub systems; design the data interface between ERP system and 3nd party commercial ERP system such as Kindee K3; solve some popular issues of the database system.The practice proves that this UML modeling assists software development of the ERP system for the developing zone. It can increase the efficiency of the software development. The optimize of the activity diagram decreases the complex of the workflow to help to identify the key point of the process. The interface helps interoperation of the different modules. The interface to Kindee K3 helps to reuse the Kindee system in max manner.This ERP system is running well in the development zone, satisfies user’s requirements. Since the system is self-developed, it can be customized maximally. Comparing to the commercial ERP system, it can provide efficient match to the customer. It can dynamically reduce the additional manual workload of the old system without integration and get much higher working efficiency.
