In the complex environment of manufacturing, modern companies face the problem of scheduling in fast, scientific, efficient ways when multiple objectives have to be considered. In order to save human resources and promote work efficiency this thesis targets at the scheduling problem of SMT(Surface Mounting Technology) workshop section in PCBA(Printed Circuit Board Assembly) manufacturing industry, and seeks ways to analysis, build models and find solutions for these problems with multiple objectives need to be reached.Many complex factors should be considered when make production scheduling of SMT, such as limited SMT resources, ship on time with right quantity, finish building the first side of PCB(Printed Circuit Board) before build the second side, control the WIP(work in process) quantity, the second side of PCB should be built within the setted time after finish building the first side, control the changeover time of SMT. Previous research tends to focus on optimizing a goal or build goal programming model but without work out solutions automatically, that’s cannot meet the actual needs of scheduling. Considers resources these companies have on hand, in this thesis I establish the goal programming model of priority structure for SMT production scheduling according to the importance of these decision objectives, and work out production scheduling automatically.This thesis automatically gains the solution of the goal programming by using VBA programming language to call in the mathematic plug-in Analytic Solver Platform in the Excel 2007/2010 environment, and automatically create SMT production scheduling base on the solution gained. In the end, the scheduling is proved correct by introduce the solution into the original model.This thesis sets an example for the analysis, model building, programming and automatic solving of multiple objectives goal programming, enriches the diversity in the application of goal programming, and provides idea and example for similar electronic products manufacturers to introduce optimization and automation in their SMT production scheduling.
