Forest fire is a disaster or even global catastrophic events in a kind of most harmful to human beings because of the industrial development, the climate has changed dramatically in recent decades. The forest fire also gradually on the rise in the world. Especially in recent twenty years, with deterioration of climate, forest fires on the ecological environment and human security caused the fatal damage. By tracking the survey found that for a long period of time, human is the leading cause of death in the forest fire caused by excessive inhalation of toxic and harmful gases generated in the forest fire. It is against this background, this paper designed a special for forest fire situation of toxic gas detection device, can real-time detect toxic gas concentration in forest fire, for local people as well as fire fighting and rescue team has provided the safeguard personal safety, thus protecting the personal safety of the people.This article first considers the poisoning gas to produce the material base of forest fire, on the basis of the study, analyses the different toxic gas in the forest fire under different concentrations of the damage to human physiological characteristics and the corresponding relation of leaves between combustion and oxidation. At the same time, considering the particularity of forest fire, this paper analyzes the forest fires in the gas concentration change trend, at the same time for later actual design to lay the theoretical results.For the early study of the theory,the project based on the 555 chip to build monostable trigger as the core, supplemented by the corresponding peripheral sensors, sound and light alarm and power supply circuit and so on the circuit design. The chip has a functional, easy to operate, mature technology etc, just with the simple peripheral circuits can be realized some complicated function of the circuit design, the circuit has good continuation. And it is composed of 555 chip as the core of pure hardware circuit structure is simple, easy to use and the corresponding function. Considering is the forest fire toxic gas detection and alarm circuit designed by pure hardware, don’t need the intervention of software program, with the use of the corresponding simulation software, can effectively deal with the simulation stage work, greatly simplifies the complexity of circuit design, so as to further enhance its reliability and stability of the circuit, which laid a foundation for the further design of late.This article, by using the single chip microcomputer technology, digital circuit, analog circuit technology, signal processing technology and related theory knowledge, supplemented by proteus8.0,. Keil C51 programming software, such as simulation and finally designed a model based on STC12C5160S2 forest fire toxic gas detection device. The main function of the toxic gas detection device is the real-time detection of carbon monoxide in the forest fire and smoke density, and depending on the influence of different toxic gases on human design multistage alarm concentration, at the same time, in view of the special environment in forest fire, add the secondary alarm module to ensure the working reliability of the device. When the concentration of the detected is higher than the set alarm threshold, it will send out sound and light alarm.This design is mainly design for two aspects:hardware circuit design and software programming. In hardware circuit, this design is mainly composed of the signal amplifying circuit, d/a conversion circuit, temperature and humidity compensation circuit, sound and light alarm circuit, keyboard keys circuit, display circuit and power circuit. According to characteristics of forest fire endurance long, on the hardware selection, mainly adopts the low power consumption of the components. On software programs at the same time introduces the single chip microcomputer real-time operating system, and write the anti-jamming algorithm of the program.According to the simulation results were based on a sample PCB diagram of the process of production, and the samples were tested according to the inaccuracy error, stability, accuracy, sound and light alarm performance, response time and successfully achieve the desired results. The system is mainly applied to forest fires occasions. It has the following advantages:portable type, long battery life, low cost, highly concentrated, stable performance and it has certain market prospects.
