Design And Implementation Of Engineering Project Management System For Yuansheng Company

This thesis discusses design and implementation of civil construction project management system for Shanghai Yuansheng Company. The system development decision is to meet the company’s strategy requirement for establishing long-term stable competition advantage in the high-end market, and also combine with its former management informalization experience.Based on advanced information technology, this system highlights the core management elements of real estate projects, which are schedule, quality and cost. Through informational management, it supports following important areas in real estate project management. First is establishing completed project management plan, including progress plan and budget plan, to arrange project sections and line productions reasonable. Second is overall intensifying quality management and control during construction process. Third is supporting highly efficient management to construction material purchasing and inventory. Instructed by the above developing targets, combing with the company’s business management module and flow, this paper gives detailed discussion for the software construction. It gives the system’s demand analysis, design scenario and main modules’programming. The software design uses mature browser-application server-database server multiple architecture. The front end uses browser to realize view display and user interaction. The rear end uses relationship database server to carry out integrated data management. Transaction processing modules on intermediate layer application server mainly include project plan management module, project progress information management and statistic module, project quality management module, project cost management module, etc.The system is developed with MS Visual Studio and programmed in C# and SQL Server 2012 database. It has been finished developing and testing, and is on trial running to get users’ evaluation. The running effect so far shows that the system can reach its anticipated developing target in project plan management, quality management and cost management.
