China Youth YUN New Media Technology Ltd. Company (CYYUN) is a network public opinion service company, which is set up by China Youth Newspaper, and authorized by the Chinese government. It has branches in Beijing and Ningbo. Technology and rich information are the characteristic of the company. Under new situation, CYYUN puts forward higher standard for the future development:to get 0.22 billion RMB in proceeds of sales, to have 200% growth by the year of 2018, and reach a certain quantity of profits.So, it is very important to lay out the reasonable and available strategies for the company’s development. This article studies and analyzes on the issue of development strategies of CYYUN. This thesis can be divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduces the situation of network public opinion service in China, development history and recent situation of CYYUN, and describes the research background and its significance of the research. The theory of enterprise development strategy, content, ideas and methods are also illustrated in this chapter. Secondly, the PEST analysis tool and Michael Porter’s Five Forces Model are applied to analyze the macro environment of the company and the competitive environment of the industry and then it summarizes the opportunities and challenges faced by the company. Later, it thoroughly evaluates the external environment of CYYUN by using the EFE tool. In the third chapter, it introduces the company’s internal environment comprehensively. It makes a rounded analysis of the internal resources, management ability, marketing ability, research and development activities and core-competitiveness of the company. It sums up the disadvantages and advantages of the company. Finally, IFE tool is used to evaluate the company’s internal environment. The fourth chapter analyzes the CYYUN’s development strategy on the basis of using SWOT tool and Potter three strategic theory and sets accurate positioning of the company’s competitive strategy. The strategic measures are proposed in this chapter, which are strategic planning, short-term goals, the choice of strategic product, the choice of strategic market and how to build the core competitiveness. Finally, measures of strategy safeguard are discussed in the last chapter to make sure the strategy implementation perform smoothly.The aim of this thesis is about to give some suggestions to the newly founded company-CYYUN in drafting the development strategies. The company can run more smoothly and healthily with these ideas.
