The Research Of Resource Management Technology In Heterogeneous Wireless Network

With the rapid development of a variety of wireless networks, the network signal coverage overlaps. Integrating advantage of different wireless networks together form the heterogeneous wireless network which can achieve complementary advantages. The trend of wireless network development is heterogeneous wireless network, it can more efficiently utilize the radio resources of networks, provide a more abundant services to users. Resource management in heterogeneous wireless networks enable the radio resource management more efficiently and more fully, but also can improve the overall network performance, wireless resource management has become a focus of heterogeneous wireless network research.Firstly, the structure of heterogeneous wireless network and radio resource management model are described in this paper, further research on the techniques of call admission control and load balancing in heterogeneous radio resource management.In this paper, a call admission control algorithm based on load and service type is proposed, the service type, the network load and the user’s service level are considered, in order to access control of user’s call requests. Finally,analysis of the new call blocking probability, hand off blocking probability and resource utilization in heterogeneous wireless network, the new algorithm which in compare with the based on service algorithm and the based on load algorithm has a lower new call blocking rate and a low hand off blocking rate, at the same time it improves the utilization rate of resources.The load imbalance leads to reducing the network capacity issues, so a new algorithm is invented. The new algorithm considers the target cell load status, user state translations and the service type to calculation the load factor, according the value of load factor to control and transfer the network load. The simulation results show that, the new algorithm reduces the hand off blocking rate, improves the utilization rate of wireless resources.
