Digital signal processor(DSP) is widely used in the fields of consumer electronics and industrial equipment. As a powerful complex of high-speed computing processor, the demands of high-quality college graduates skilled in the development of DSP is growing. However, it is difficult to learn for the beginner, In order to help students learn the relative technology and expand the application of DSP, this paper develops a DSP experiment teaching system for learning and training.In the paper, the DSP experimental teaching system, aimed at teaching and secondary development, is designed based on the TMS320F28335 DSP processor. The system consists of a simple structure and relative independence of many separate modules. Each module could either operate validation and designing experiments individually or connected with other modules in order to realize multi-functions such as hardware design, comprehensive experiment and secondary development. The hardware of the DSP experimental teaching system consists of the core module, man-machine interactive interface module, communication module, application module and connecting module. The core modules with the main processor are responsible for system operation. The man-machine interactive interface module with buttons, digital tube, LCD, etc., to deal with human-computer interaction information. The communication module with a variety of communication methods such as RS232, RS485, USB, RFID, WIFI, Ethernet, etc.. The application module with digital audio, calendar clock, a variety of sensors, etc., to deal with on the functionality of the system to be extended. The connecting module will link up each module with others. Based on this module structure, drivers for each module are designed. Also, some fundamental experiments for debugging and designing are designed for this teaching system. The result shows that the system can work closely with the design of hardware and software to complete the design of experiments established. In addition, the system can meet the need of students on the hardware experiment, validation experiment, design experiment and comprehensive experimental study of different stages of DSP.Based on the requirement of design, this article has completed the overall design of teaching system, designed and described each module of the hardware circuit. Therefore, the drivers for each module have designed. Moreover some fundamental experiments and secondary development are designed for this system. Finally, to make test for this system comprehensive performance.
