The Study On The Methods Of Obtaining The Emissivity Of Typical Surfaces

With the development of the economy, marine activity increases and maritime major accidents happen from time to time, then searching for targets in distress at sea is particularly important. The infrared imaging technology has some technical characteristics, including the strong ability to detect, long detecting distance, not affected by illumination conditions, which is used in the search under adverse sea conditions distress goals. Automatic search algorithm is very important for the recognition of distress target, when developing infrared automatic search system. It also needs a number of photos from different conditions for testing, which costs high work cost and limited testing data. Infrared image simulation is an efficient way to solve this problem and has an irreplaceable position in automatic search algorithms.The emissivity is an important parameter to present the capability of object’s surface radiation in infrared image simulation system. Therefore, The accuracy of emissivity is crucial to effect of simulation. This paper is the methods of obtaining emissivity of typical surfaces, which has significant meaning for infrared image simulation system. The main content of this paper includes three aspects:first one is obtaining the emissivity of the typical surfaces, second one is the design and implementation of emissivity & temperature database management system, last one is.the methods of obtaining which are based on emissivity data query.There are three ways to collect the data of emissivity, known as reviewing literature, measuring method and rectification. Reviewing literature is reading a mount of related literature to collect the reference values of emissivity and other telated parameters. Measuring method utilizes IR-2 dual band emissivity measurement instrument to measure the emissivity of some typical materials. Rectification can obtain more authentic value of emissivity, using loop simulation and numerical iterative.Database management system consists of four functional modules, which are entry, query, modify and delete of emissivity and surface temperature parameter. This software uses Microsoft’s SQL Server 2008 as a database development tool, and utilizes MFC to design and interactive interface in Visual Studio 2008 platform and ADO database access technology to connect, constituting a C/S architecture, stable operation, installation convenient. After the implementation of this system,tests have been done on all system with possible result that every function can be achieved.Emissivity has different parameters, so does the surface temperature. The query is according to the conditions of the priority and the extent of complete data records in the database. To study methods of obtaining emissivity of data query and the surface temperature of data query.
