The contemporary world is the creative world of knowledge, the traditional learning mode is limited by the space and resources, now they can not meet the people’s needs. In order to ensure that the learners can get the knowledge they want at any time and in any place, this paper studied the mobile learning which is a new mode of learning. Through the combination of android operating system and mobile learning, the efficiency of mobile learning is greatly improved.As a new mode of learning, the current development of mobile learning platform has been in a state of exploration. Complete and unified model has not formed in theory, it did not fully consider the characteristics of mobile devices in the technical implementation and lack of interactive and practical. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a reasonable use of mobile terminal equipment of their own advantages and powerful mobile learning platform.The main work is summarized as follows:(1)The mobile learning platform is a powerful study of the functional requirements and performance requirements,.On the basis of a large collection of demonstration and analysis.Finally, the overall framework of mobile learning platform is designed. According to the functional requirements of the mobile learning platform, that is divided into four parts, they are resource center module,learning center module, test center module, and communication center module.Describing the basic functions of the mobile learning platform by the use of the case model.(2)On the basis of the full study Android system architecture and application architecture, according to the android system development technology enables the development of mobile learning platform, introduces the development of key modules.In the data center module introduces the implementation and realization of resources to add functionality resource search function; In the learning resource center module describes how to implement thefeatures about read function and add notes function; At the test center module describes the acquisition as well as single-box value achieve countdown function.In the center of the communication module introduces asynchronous send and load information. Detailed analysis of the key technologies of mobile learning platform development process required, including XML parsing and using View and View Group class.(3)After the completion of the development of mobile learning platform for functional testing and response latency test and the relevant test data were analyzed. The test results show that the design of mobile learning platform can achieve the anticipated goal.Mobile learning platform based on Android has the characteristics of lowcoupled,extensible, easy to maintain,design model, that is owed to the three layer architecture. These features make the future can be easily to secondary development system, according to the need to add the function module to ensure that the mobile learning platform has a strong vitality.
