Design The Information System Of A Coal Logistics Enterprise Based On BPM Theory

Shanxi Province and the western part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region are both important coal producing areas in China.There are lots of private investors, loose logistics organizations and logistics companies which engage in short distance coal transportation in the area. From the point of view the national conditions,the national energy policy and the trend of economic development, demand for coal in China is gradually increasing. This kind of transportation has a good trend of development. In the face of the competitive environment and driven by interests, in order to achieve the effective management of the company’s transport activity and all types of resources,and make the company’s daily business activities match the company’s development strategy matches,a coal logistics company hopes a reasonable information systems planning.The transportation activities are the main activities of this company. Taking into account the strategic objective that reduce operating costs in order to obtain higher profits,this paper does information analysis from the perspective of business process management,mainly completes the following work:(1) Get the basis of data and information of the company’s business activities through research, seminars, interviews and other ways.Find problems during its operation,and find the business activities need to improve.(2) Standardize the company’s existing business processes according to international standards of business process Modeling Notation (BPMN).Then find the company’s key business processes and business activity that has space to improve by the key success factors(KSF) and the value chain. Based on both the results above and the company management objectives, optimize the existing business processes and build a superior business process system in line with this company.(3) According to KPI and BSC theory, set performance evaluation standards. Regulating and supervising business activity, truly achieve the goal of business process management.(4)Design an information system according to the optimized business processes using the AWS BPM platform.
