Based on this point, the feasibility is discussed and the way to survive and develop is also studied.Firstly, the basic characteristics of free newspaper, the current free newspapers around the world and the principles of feasibility are outlined; secondly, the survival state of domestic metropolitan newspapers and challenges they are facing are analyzed, as an innovated distribution mode, free newspaper is presented to solve the problems and maintain the traditional newspaper market; thirdly, through Hong Kong free newspapers to explore the comparative study domestic prospects for the development of free newspapers and forward their own ideas.
