Wireless LAN, which has the characteristics of high data throughput, flexibility, low deployment cost and good scalability, has gradually developed into an effective means to relieve the data traffic pressure of traditional cellular network for operator and to ensure users’experience of high-speed data service. Meanwhile, it occupies an important position in the implement of "Multi-network collaboration". With the popularity of mobile Internet and the development of intelligent terminals, data traffic is showing explosive growth trend. To meet the higher demand of market for the throughput of wireless data services, IEEE802.11ac, the fifth-generation wireless LAN standard, has been proposed. This paper is based on the IEEE802.11ac standard release version and combines the research methods of theoretical analysis and mathematical modeling. It focus on the key technology of IEEE802.11ac and the Network optimization during practical deployment, mainly including the following topics. Firstly, it analysis the key technologies of IEEE802.11ac, including the physical layer and MAC layer. After that, it calculates the nominal peak rate on the basis of the technical indicators parameters. Secondly, it focus on the DCF protocol, which is adopted by series standards of IEEE802.11. Based on the indicator parameters of IEEE802.11ac. it uses Markov modeling mathematical model to calculate the performance of IEEE802.11ac under saturation conditions, including data throughput and media access latency. Thirdly, it further improves the Markov model by distinguishing the access point and station, which is based on the data arrival rate. After that, it contrasts the performance of IEEE802.11ac in basic access mode and RTS/CTS mode, With different number of active users and frame length. The result of starting RTS/CTS mode’s threshold can provide a reference for IEEE802.11ac network optimization. Finally, it presents an Algorithm to solve Point-coloring problem in graph theory, which is based on the relationship between the independent set and cover set. In the algorithm, the weight values of edge between neighboring point are taken into consideration. The algorithm can be applied to WLAN networks channel configuration to reduce the inter-system interference in the high-density deployment scenarios. What’s more, different scenarios are taken into consideration. The algorithm can provide a reference for the IEEE802.11ac network optimization in the high-density deployment scenarios.
