With the progress of computer science and technology, people gradually accustomed to do more things anywhere on the Internet. In this way, online education is becoming more and more familiar in people’s life. Compared to traditional classroom teaching mode, online education APPs based on mobile terminals have more advantages and convenience.Android, IOS and other smart phone systems are used by more people, including pupils and students in middle school. While their teachers cannot always stay around the students and answer the questions in time, we developed an online education APP, called "Question Bird". It’s installed on smart phone, students can upload their questions through this APP whenever, after that teachers will get the questions, and answer them, tell students why, until they get it and close the question. With this APP, there’s no more need for parents and students to worry about finding no teacher to help them in time.The Question Bird APP, supports Android and IOS, and uses Q&A community mode. Students publish questions in the form of image, text, and voice, as they like. Teachers answer questions after they are published, then get points and even virtual coins. Points are about upgrade standards, and the coins can be converted into real income, in order to encourage teachers to answer more questions. This APP is divided into student-client and teacher-client. Students use student-client to publish their questions, and check the answer, and view the most recent popular asked questions by other students. Teachers need know what questions are published, and answer it in real time by the especial client for them. This kind of design will give students so much help to bring high efficiency when learning.After the APP was officially put into test and use, students are more encouraged to ask what they want to know. The teachers are also very happy to participate in helping students answer questions under some certain incentive mechanisms. Besides, we have optimized the running memory and reduced the network data, making the APP suitable for mobile phones. This paper carries out a full and detail introduction on project significance, requirements analysis, outline design, detailed design, test and maintenance of the Question Bird online education APP, with technical difficulties illustrated in the detailed design part.
