In this paper, through the analysis of thepresent situation of water management in thermal power plant, the water balance software ofthermal power plant is proposed from the view of scientific management, and provides afeasible solution for the watermanagement of thermal power plant. our system is based on thewater management system, using the software of water management of thermal power plantsystem programming technology of developing object-oriented.The application of the systemfor the power plant to save water, reduce the discharge of wastewater has played a guidingrole in bringing economic benefits for the power plantThe investigation of water system in Qianxi power plant as an example, through thewater balance test in Qianxi power plant, water and total water use data of each subsystem inpower plant water statistics, summary data information, generate statistics report according torequirement. According to the "as much as possible using cyclic treatment, repeated use ofwater, water conservation" principle, through the automatic control software system, theimplementation of classification of water use system, namely the raw water supply needexcellent water, then drain after treatment (or untreated) recycling within the system, or to thesystem of poor water quality requirements the repeated use of water in thermal power plant,the realization of intelligent control.
