Bibliometric Study Of Core Journals Table Tennis Analysis2001-2012Years

Employing the method of literature review, statistics, logic analysis, and content analysis, this paper has made biliometric analysis on papers of domestic core journals from the year2001to2012. Document information is mainly divided into static information flow and dynamic information flow, this research includes concentration tendency and dispersion tendency of static information flow of papers, authors distribution, key words distribution, abstract distribution, content distribution and growth tendency&aging tendency of papers on the term of dynamic information flow. The results are follows:1. The tendency of papers published on core journals form the year2001to2012is increasing, journals with high influence factors don’t necessarily have high quality.2. There are total1190authors writing papers on table tennis in which433first author, male authors much more than female authors; among these authors, much of them already have stable jobs (associate professor and lecturers), and there are a few student authors, the ratio of age form aged, middle aged and young is1:3:2. According to Rice Laws and Lotka’ s Laws,23%are excellent authors. Author affiliations are mainly concentrate on colleges (29%sport colleges,64%non-sport colleges)3. The research subjects mainly focus on competitive sport; for researches focus on similar themes, they are lack of continuity in chronology, and lack of comparison on the term of logic; there are lumps of repetitive researches, and only a few empirical studies.4. The methods used by these researches are mainly statistics (26.8%), investigation method (23.3%), literature review (19.5%);for, experimental methods, logic thinking method and measurement are used not so often comparatively. 5. Researches on table tennis are mainly descriptive studies, there are fewer explanatory studies and exploring studi es.6. There are8papers’ references qualified for the requirement of research paper writing:the format of reference doesn’t follow the standard;the written languages:of referenece are not various, mainly Chinese, only a few researches refer to papers written in English;the types of reference includes continued publication serial,work books, conferences, degree papers, reports, patent papers, newspapers, literature of electronic forms and others among which continued publication serial has the highest citation rate (59％).
