PID controller is the the most widely used method of controlling and most mature technology in the control system, because of its simple structure, robustness, etc., PID controller has strong vitality and is widely used in metallurgical, electrical and mechanical industrial processes. The unity of fractional control theory and PID controller tuning theory, is a very new research direction. In recent years, fractional controller has also got more and more researchers’attention. Most researchers consider Fractional integer order controller is applied to the control system to improve the effectiveness of the system. For the reality of the situation in a variety of real systems, fractional model can accurately provides a good tool to describe some of the dynamic processes than integer order model. For these fractional order systems, fractional controllers can reflect its advantages even better. The design complexity of fractional controller limits its application in the field of engineering, so the establishment of a MATLAB-based fractional order controller design and analysis platform is necessary.This paper studies fractional operators of the best approximation algorithms first, focusing on S fractional order calculus domain operator of best rational approximation problem S; then use the best approximation of fractional Fractional Operators it gets to seek and control the transfer functions. The platform includes fractional calculus operator rational approximation function generation module and Fractional controller design modules,also it can receive fractional calculus operator best rational approximation of expression, the frequency characteristic curves, zero-pole distribution, completed Fractional the controller design and analysis. By fractional calculus operator rational approximations and controller design examples show that the platform can easily implement fractional calculus operator performance analysis and rational approximation for fractional order controller designed to provide convenient conditions. The platform is user-friendly, easy to use, provide the foundation of practical application of fractional order controller.
