Network coding is a promising technique designed to reach the Min-cut Max-flow capacity and has been receiving widespread attention in academia and industry. Research results shows that network coding can provide further higher network throughput, robustness, balance the traffic as well as security for wireless communication systems. In recent years, the network coding technology have attracted great attention in various application areas of wireless communications. The D2D communication system, satisfied the requirement of direct communication between devices. It is defined as a direct communicate with each other without data forwarding of the base station. Within a small coverage,D2D will increase the transmission rate and reduce the transmission power of devices, so as to enhance spectrum utilization and improve spectrum efficiency, reduce the energy consumption of the device battery.Based on the study of existing theory, in view of the D2D communication system, D2D communications within the cluster quality is low and the communication radius and the power is limited, the network coding technology is introduced into the D2D communication system. The main research works and innovative results of dissertation are expressed as follows:1. In this article, we propose a novel cooperative transmission scheme in D2D groups based on network coding. Uplink resource are multiplexed for D2D communication to increase the resource utilization in cellular communications. When D2D group header collects all feedbacks, it is his duty to select a D2D TX to be the cooperative relay and encoding the packages with network coding based on the feedback list. Numerical examples reveal that with the proposed scheme, the D2D transmission efficiency can be improved a lot.2. In order to make the network coding play a better role in D2D communication system, this paper proposes AdapCode, a reliable data dissemination protocol using adaptive network coding, to reduce traffic in the process of code updates. In our protocol, a node will send out a NACK to the neighbor nodes when the node lost some packages and can’t decoded all the information. We design a mechanism to distributively select the responder to the NACK without any maintenance overhead. Using this mechanism, we can significantly reduce the risk of serious packet collisions and channel congestion. This mechanism is adapted to different network system and has strong flexibility.3. We implement AdapCode and compare it compare it against Deluge, we observe that AdapCode outperforms Deluge in all three important performance metrics:traffic, load balancing,and latency.At the end of paper, this article analyzed and prospected the development trends of the network coding technique, D2D communication system technology and the related technology.
