With the development of smart city, the construction of smart community has become the focus of the smart city. Traditional information communities have formed multiple application systems in the aspect of property management, e-government. But these systems are independent of each other, to form the multiple information islands, and result in the system integration degree is very low. Redundant construction is outstanding, the related resources cannot be integrated together to use. In addition, along with the increase in business and application, the system will face the requirements of huge amounts data storage and improve the system scalability.The emergence of cloud computing provides an opportunity to solve these problems. Cloud computing technology as a kind of calculation model, its important characteristics is the resource integration. Its easy maintenance, high extension ability makes cloud computing technology get more and more attention and application.This issue based on the "smart community information platform" that our laboratory beared, which is the subproject of "R&D project of digital city information DCI platform". Currentlythe informatization construction of smart community doesn’t have mature construction mode domestic and foreign, and mostly in pilot and explore.In this paper, firstly we study and introduce Hadoop, the open source distributed computing framework, and related technicals HDFS, MapReduce and HBase. Then we put forward a kind of architecture scheme of smart community information platform based on cloud computing according to specific requirements of the smart community. Cloud computing technology can integrate multiple isolated systems effectively. In response to mass data storage and improve the system scalability problem we propose a storage schema adapted to the smart community according to the characteristics of the smart communitybased on the analysis of a variety of storage scheme using HDFS. The storage schema is two level storage structure using HDFS and HBase. The article also gives the detailed design and the specific implementation of the file storage system. Apply MapReduce to file merging at the same time to improve the speed of system. This file storage system can effectively deal with mass data storage problem. In this paper, we also design and implement RESTful interface of our file storage system, so that the third party to use.Finally, we design and implement the background file management system of B/S structure using our implemented storage system.
