With the development of the domestic3G network and intelligent terminals, mobile network data traffic is growing rapidly, which brings unprecedented impact on network operators. Different from voice service, the characteristics of data service is diversity, random and burst. It is difficult to measure the wireless resources occupancy of data service. Analysis of the relationship between different data traffic and resource is important for the optimization of network.This paper focus on the analysis of real data from WCDMA network and CDMA20001x EVDO network. This paper selects four kinds of data business from WCDMA network:QQ, UC, weibo and youku. The distribution of packet length is researched and fitted. The network resource of data service is analyzed based on the relevant research.The focal and innovation of this paper is the research of EVDO network. This part mainly divided into three parts:traffic analysis, resource mapping analysis and network optimization. In this part of traffic analysis, the existing classical traffic model is researched. A temporal model of traffic is established by analyzing the real data from network. Combined with cellular network features and real data, the relationship between different data traffic and resource is analyzed. A mapping function is established through the traffic-resource association algorithm. Three kinds of cellular network optimization program are proposed based on this mapping function.In this paper, the main innovations are as follow:The packet length distribution of the four typical data service is researched and fitted. A temporal model of traffic is established. The real data from mobile cellular network is analyzed. A mapping function on traffic and resource is built. Three kinds of network optimization programs are proposed.
