China is a multicultural country, every region, every ethnic group has a long andglorious history and culture, which forming a large and extensive reserves of IntangibleCultural Heritage. Intangible Cultural Heritage is not only a precious spiritual treasure ourancestors left us, but also an important symbol of national identity and development ofeach region, each ethnic group, even the whole Chinese. Globalization process is adouble-edged sword for Intangible Cultural Heritage, which brings opportunity fordevelopment, but also put it at risk. However, the inheritance protection of IntangibleCultural Heritage of a country with a history of over5,000years has the special socialsignificance and educational value.XPCC, since its establishment to the present, has continued the culture of garrisoningfrontiers, from the early pioneer settlement of Junken soldiers’(the army unit which joinedthe reclamation of wasteland in20c50s)"Wubing activities”(the activities that Junkensoldiers sing, dance, paint, write and act)to now Corps workers in the various divisions,regiments and even the cultural square activities of various forms of mass art forms. Theseprecious cultural heritages carried the miracles the Corps created on the wasteland over60years, also represented the “Junken spirits”. This Intangible Cultural Heritage should bepromoted, protected and developed. This article will be in the perspective of IntangibleCultural Heritage protection, discusses the situation and thoughts about development of theinheritance protection of XPCC Intangible Cultural Heritage in the museums of armyreclamation, so as to enrich and develop the heritage protection theory, also provides thetheory and practice on the protection of the intangible cultural heritage of XPCC and thefuture development of the museums of army reclamation. What’s more, museums of armyreclamation are the windows of showing the history and culture of XPCC, with the help ofintangible cultural heritage, it can play a better role. Be doing this, it not only enriches theplatform of showing the corps, but also enriches the fresh content of understanding andstudy of the corps; it not only is the common memory of old Junken soldiers, but also is thetextbooks for reclamation education of teenagers and workers in the corps; it can not onlyhighlights the advanced culture as a lead, the combination of XPCC Intangible CulturalHeritage of Junken characteristics with army reclamation museums`development, it alsostrengthens the construction of the museums, which can protect intangible cultural heritagemore effectively. This paper’s theoretical exploration has important theoretical andpractical significance in Crop’s cultural construction, safeguard of the mankind’s spiritualhome and the development of Junken spirits. The full text is divided into five parts, specificas follows.The first part: introduction. Overall illustrates the research background, origin andsignificance of topic selection, summarizes and analyzes the Intangible Cultural Heritageprotection at home and abroad in recent years with the museum construction, and therelated research of the Corps`Intangible Cultural Heritage protection, so as to theoreticallyelucidates the feasibility and compatibility of Intangible Cultural Heritage protection andthe construction of the museum. In addition, it explains the main research methods of thisthesis and the selection of the field sites. The second part: the related theory and practice on Intangible Cultural Heritageprotection. This chapter analyzes the concept of Intangible Cultural Heritage and itsdefinition, protection policy and its principle, the inheritance media and the protectiongroups and the education value of it, thus to demonstrate Intangible Cultural Heritage canbe the object of museum protection and the museum can have a positive role in the itsprotection. Besides, the paper clarifies the collection, exhibition, research, education andother cultural function of army reclamation museums, which made they have advantages inIntangible Cultural Heritage protection while intangible cultural heritage protectionstrengthens the positive role of the cultural space. And pave the way for the analysis ofissues below.The third part: the investigation and analysis on present situation of the XPCCIntangible Cultural Heritage protection in army reclamation museums. According to theperformance by corps related cultural departments in these years of Intangible CulturalHeritage protection work as well as the development predicament the XPCC IntangibleCultural Heritage met, which leads to the museum protective way. In my research I visitedthe Museum of Army Reclamation, the359Force’s Reclamation Commemorative Museum,the Wu Jiaqu Museum of Army Reclamation and the Mosuo Bay Reclamation ExhibitionHall in148, the Reclamation History Exhibition in149and the Reclamation MemorialMuseum in150, which as the investigation field sites. I found that due to funding, buildingarea, the limitations of the staff knowledge structure, and the shortcomings of the museum’sown operation and management mode, etc., makes the army reclamation museums facingsome problems in XPCC Intangible Cultural Heritage protection.The fourth part: the search strategies of the army reclamation museums in IntangibleCultural Heritage inheritance protection. These path explorations are mainly aimed at theproblems and challenges the last chapter mentioned. Such as making full use of armyreclamation culture squares which surrounded the museum site, strengthening theinteractive contact of the museums in the same division, improving the museum’sprofessional quality and trying to move into the new era of digitalization and networkedetc.The fifth part: conclusion. Presented in this paper the problems to solve, subjectcharacteristics, the conclusion and the deficiencies still exist. May the protection work ofXPCC Intangible Cultural Heritage in the army reclamation museum’s can enrich thecontent of museums, both the static protection and dynamic protection. The full text is inthe perspective of Intangible Cultural Heritage protection, and does a research on thecomplementary protection and utilization of Intangible Cultural Heritage and the Museumsof Army Reclamation. It hopes to provide theoretical ideas and practice basis to theircombination for the further development.
