The development and spread of intelligent manufacturing provide powerful conditions for the construction of the digital workshop and factory. Docking and welding in bubble shell boilers play an important role in boiler manufacturing, and tube section inner diameter measurement is the base of the best welding state. Laser measurement of intelligence to the measurement method of tube section inner diameter, and with the application of Intelligent matching method, can solve the problem of the accurate measurement of key production parameters about the quality of the product and production efficiency.In this paper, it uses the method of non-contact laser measurement, and implementates accurate, rapid and stable multiple measurement of bubble tube section inner diameter effectively, and sends data synchronously. It combines with the mechanical measurement technology to achieve the measurement of the axial long walk, coaxial centering, rotational positioning and scanning; and it uses the radio transmission technology to avoid a lot of inconvenience of the winding. The system not only can measure the drum section inner diameter convenient and quickly in real time, but also complete matching promptly and efficiently. It meets the requirement of intelligent manufacturing automation production in digital workshops.In this paper, it introduces the research status about large aperture inner diameter measuring method at home and abroad, and the bottleneck of existing technology and shortfall in the boiler manufacture in our country, and then comes up with boiler tube section inner diameter measuring system which using a method about laser non-contact. This system has simple structure and high accuracy of measurement which can Rotational position accurately. It designes a real-time and reliable measurement system, and realizes the function of sensor scanning, wireless communication and motor driving. The function of the system uses the ARM platform and C language program development, to achieve development of hardware platform and software programs in this measurement system. It also uses ZigBee communication technology to send measured data to PC real-time and effectively, and avoid the winding interference of data collection.
