Lifestyle Research is a comprehensive measure of consumer research methods. Currentlybelong to a relatively new research methods, mainly used in industrial design surveys and usersurveys. In the early stages of design user survey lifestyle survey using relatively easy to graspcustomer needs in order to gain design information. Users lifestyle survey taken in the specificdesign of the project which way to accumulate from the "User lifestyle" to "establish designguidelines," the empirical method, so far no systematic comparison theory.In this study, research activities, values, consumption patterns and product usage patternsand other lifestyle-related content on consumer behavior, mining needs to understand consumerbehavior and motivation of target consumers, thereby effectively guide the design of a product orservice. Although the study was not an entirely new lifestyle concept, but the consumerelectronics industry, combined with study of young consumers lifestyles for productdevelopment and design, or very little. Because young people are an important force in consumerelectronics products to buy, especially for young lifestyle study of college students has becomean important way to predict future demand for consumer electronics products.In this paper, the lifestyle of college students to start research for the study, to explore thedifferences of college life and lifestyle consumer electronics products on usage patterns. Analysisof the background, purpose and significance of consumer electronics design study based lifestyleand design research in the field of application status through surveys lifestyles, trends andgeneral theoretical approach, this paper summarizes the research measurement mode lifestyle.Conducted a questionnaire designed for the college lifestyle lifestyle based on establishedmeasurement mode, then embarked on research work. Through field investigation and research network platform eventually won259valid questionnaires. And the use of statistical softwareSPSS13.0the questionnaire data entry and data analysis. Statistical analysis of the results and getthe contemporary college students living morphological classification.
