With the global economy growing steadily, tourism industry has become one of the largest industries. At the same time, tourism has become one of the pillar industries of economic development in China. The rapid development of Internet technology has made online tourism products trade a new trend. Nevertheless, most of domestic tourism enterprises’e-commerce platforms are B2C mode. B2C e-commerce websites in China always have many problems like disorder internal management, deceiving consumers and ect. Currently, many tourism enterprises tend to the relatively reliable collaborative distribution for tourism products. Therefore, developing a new management platform for tourism products distribution can effectively satisfy the demands of collaborative distribution business between tourism enterprises.This dissertation relies on a construction project of tourism e-commerce platform for one medium-sized travel agency in Zhejiang Province. A management platform for tourism products distribution is designed and developed for the travel agency. The main contents of this paper are introduced as follow.1. The demands of staff in the target travel agent for the platform are captured precisely, and the functional model, use case model and performance requirements are used to describe and analyze these demands. Then the goals and the scope of the platform development are clear. After studying a series of key technologies like JavaEE lightweight framework, Apache CXF and Java Security Framework that are related to platform development, the overall technical architecture for the platform is proposed. The project is proved to be feasible based on a comprehensive feasibility analysis including operational feasibility, technical feasibility and economic feasibility. 2. For the secure authentication and usage of electronic ticketing in the platform, an e-ticketing system based on T-Code is proposed. The system uses Web Service to provide services of validation and usage of electronic evidence. Data security is ensured during transmission with a kind of hybrid encryption mechanism.3. With the in-depth analysis for business of tourism products distribution in the target travel agent, the functional modules and business processes of the platform are designed in detail. The database of the platform is designed reasonably according to the normalization theory. Eventually, the management platform for tourism products distribution which is appropriate for the target travel agent is established. And the platform is deployed to the cloud platform of Alibaba Corporation to improve the efficiency of server maintenance and the cost of maintenance is reduced remarkablely. In addition, more reliable service can be provided.Since the platform comes into use, the collaboration between the target travel agency and other tourism enterprises is enhanced. And the information of tourism products can be shared indeed. The procurement and distribution processes of tourism products are simplified and standardized. The cost of procurement and distribution is reduced and the competitiveness of the target agency is increased.
