At present, building freight elevators are widely used in construction sites. Running status data of most elevators is transmitted through multi-core cable. Corresponding operations are executed according to monitoring state data. Major drawbacks of this system are inconvenient, action response delay, high acquisition cost and labor cost. So a novel wireless control system of building freight elevators is designed which can be used in kinds of construction sites. Its major functions are real-time run status monitoring, low battery warning, remote wireless transmission and so on. This system is easy operation, safe and convenient. In this paper, the main work and achievements are as follows:1) The freight elevator working conditions at construction sites are analyzed through literature and field research. Design proposal which is used to monitor and control status of freight elevators by wireless is introduced because of drawback of cable transmission.2) The general idea is determined by deeply analyzing system requirements. And hardware platform is completed based on MSP430F149and APC220-43.3) Software operation platform is designed accoeding to design objective. All function modules are realized by low power interrupt mode.4) Wireless control system of building freight elevators is designed. It achieves design objective by debugging and test. And the system runs well.
