Design And Implementation For The Component Reinsurance Calculation System

Insurance industry plays an increasingly important role in the stable development of economy. As the one of the important stable methods for insurance business risk management, reinsurance business with faster development has wider business scope. The most important function of reinsurance business information system is reinsurance calculation. With rapid development, the reinsurance calculation rules always change, and the information systems have to change their program. Therefore, information system often need to upgrade, patch, and need long-term arrangements for a lot of maintenance. The Component Reinsurance calculation system is one of the possible solutions for these problems.This thesis analyzed reinsurance calculation rules of different insurance companies, described the characteristics and development trend of the reinsurance business rules, determined the system demand and business scenarios, referred to the design idea of rule engine, and designed and implemented the reinsurance calculation system. This system is able to isolate business and system program. Then people can adjust the business calculation rules at anytime, without changing of the system processing.The author’s main work completed is as follows:(1) Responsible for the system requirements analysis. The author proposed solutions for separating business logic and program processing, therefore people could completely self define the business calculation rules.(2) Participate in the design for the main function and system architecture. The author completed the system design for maintenance business rules in user interface, the hierarchical relationship between business objects, the relationship between business rules and procedures, the mapping of interface data type, the uniform rules interface, and open data transmission method.(3) Participation in implementation and detailed design of the system function. The author completed solutions for key function of business rules calculating management, and the implementation for part of the system functions. Through the project practice, we completed the component reinsurance business computing system. This system can separate business rule customization and system program, and provides simple and flexible business rules maintenance method, can adapt to the needs of different customers and scene. In addition, this system takes full consideration of the actual business needs of different degree of information in the scope of implementation. Then people can choose the scope of implementation according to actual situation, and have more the selection for the enterprise information.
