At present, anti-counterfeiting measures are mainly focused on thephysical aspects, such as ink jet anti-counterfeiting method, laser security,security code, etc. Although these methods have developed a lot in recentyears, but due to the complexity of its verification and low verification rat,there are still rampant fakes in the supply chain. In addition, problemstroubling companies cannot be solved through one singleanti-counterfeiting measure, such as stealthily substitution duringtransportation, regional goods fleeing and stockpile by suppliers and so on.A kind of technology running through the whole supply chain with easydata collection should be adopted. RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)is such a technology that makes data collection easy and highly efficientbecause of non-contact data collection. The RFID technology is used to tagon each item and record all the information of the production, logistics andwarehousing, which helps establish an effective system of informationgathering and sharing, and achieve the objective of security andtraceability of the supply chain through rational data analysis method.EPC network is a set of RFID-based information sharing platformpresented by the MIT AUTO-ID Lab. It has made an outstandingcontribution to security and traceability in the supply chain. However, theplatform is still in the theoretical research stage and lacks large-scaleenterprise application cases. Through applying the EPC network to the realbusiness project and after in-depth study of its advantages anddisadvantages, this paper has some findings as below:(1) In networkaspect, after discussion of the disadvantages of network combination in the original program, the improved network architecture using static rules toefficient the combination of network;(2)In information storage, usinguniversal data model and standardized information service have been putforward through sorting the business processes of different enterprises. Ithas improved greatly in terms of universality, the support for originalenterprise systems and extension; and (3) In application level, throughanalyzing the real production data obtained from this system and usingmean-shift and k-means method to cluster data of path vector, anomalydetection based on the supply chain event has been realized and theproblems of counterfeiting and goods fleeing about which the enterprisesare most concerned can be solved.This paper firstly describes the current status of existing RFIDsecurity and traceability study and points out the shortcomings. It then putsforward the research ideas and solutions and presents the detailed designsurrounding network architecture, information service design and supplychain anomaly detection. Finally, the paper describes the detail of theimplementation and demonstrates the system with Shandong JingZhiLiquor Project.
