In recent years, with the development of high performance technology,networkscale of super-computer system is increasing, the logic structure of high speedinterconnection network becomes more complicated. It can’t realize that thesimulation of the whole system interconnection network on a single processor, it isnecessary to develop a cross platform,parallel simulation, running on multipleprocessors, good expansibility, high accuracy interconnection network systemsimulation platform.The interconnection network simulation platform with parallel technologyrealization can effectively reduce the simulation time, the simulation results canprovide data to support the design of the overall structure design of theinterconnection network, design of network communication protocol, design of router,design of message processor,to meet the future demand for high-speedinterconnection network design.In this thesis, based on research and analysis ofhigh-speed interconnect network technology, with parallel program design method,design and implement a interconnection network simulation platform that can run onmultiple processors, and realizes the network communication protocol ofinterconnection network message layer, transport layer, data link layer, etc.. Theplatform using C++language and MPI language, object-oriented programmingmethod, clear hierarchy, module interface specification, easy function expansion, can run on Windows, Unix, Linux and so on more than one operating system.In the application process, it is simulated for a variety of network structure,routing algorithm, the arbitration mechanism, buffer strategy, obtained a large numberof simulation data. By analyzing data, can get a lot of conclusion, realizes theinterconnection network design optimization, has a good application prospect.
