With the advent of the third technological revolution, the informationtechnology and database technology have been improved a lot, which will generate alot of data, and these data contains a wealth of information, how to extract usefulinformation from these data is a very important research direction. UN ComTradeWebsite collects about6,000kinds of commodities trading information, about1.7billion data records, and every year there are a lot of new data that is recorded, alongwith the continuous economic development in recent years, and the deepening ofglobalization, the dependencies between countries increasingly become prominent.So, how to use these large data become a hot research topic, with the continuousdevelopment of computer technology, people’s ability to deal with large data is alsoconstantly improved, gradually developed the data mining technology can well dealwith the problem, combined with social network analysis to help researchers extractuseful information from these massive national trade data, and analysis of economicrelations between the countries, has become one of the important issues facingworkers in the field of social sciences.The social network analysis is used to analyze the network of national tradedeal in this paper, first it introduces the theory of social network analysis, illustratingthe use of social network analysis to analyze the network of national trade, focusingon the cohesion subgroup analysis: k-core discovery algorithm and k-plex algorithm,providing core algorithm for the analysis of the national trade network; then,combined with the basic situation of each country, the establishment of a basicgeographic database and national trade database, to achieve the electronic map layerscontrol, map browsing, thematic map rendering, information query, national tradedata management, analysis of economic relations between the countries and otherfunctions; Finally, the results of the analysis are visually demonstrated by ArcGISplatform.This paper focuses on the practical application of social network analysis innational trade network, though the national trade network into a network modelwhich can be treated by mathematical method, describes the general approach of social network analysis, based on this study the subgroup analysis based on cohesionk-core and k-plex discovery algorithm. Through experiments and found that k-corediscovery algorithm has a better effect on finding core members of the national tradenetwork, core countries can be found in this complex trade network; while greatlyk-plex discovery algorithm can find close community in this network, through thek-plex discovery algorithm improvements, community members get richer detail, itcan be a good understanding of the close relationship between the countries.The system uses a method of social network analysis to analyze the nationaltrade network, the analysis results will be displayed on the relation of nationalsystem based on.NET development platform, ArcGIS Engine developmentcomponent, to show the relationship between the national trade on the electronicmap, a new visualization method to show the results of social network analyze. Thesystem not only makes the existing national trade huge amounts of data having beenused to avoid the waste, but also the system can add annually increasing number ofnew data for research, providing people a tool with a scientific analysis of thenational trade network, the study of national trade relations has important practicalsignificance.
