With the development of aerospace, electronics and communication technique,microwave romete sensing has got developed dramatically in recent years. As a new detectingmethod, satelite borne remote sensing plays an important role in ocean remote sensing.Satelite borne microwave scatterometer can provide all-day high-presision sea windinformation, and as a result, has become a significant ocean detecting method. Digital signalprocessing is key point in scatterormeter system, so optimization of digital signal processingis very important.This thesis designs and implements a multi-channel, large-scale, high-speed digitalsignal processing system applied in scatterometer. Fisrt studys the background, meaning andbasic principles of satelite borne microwave scatterometers and details the principles andstructure of Sea Salinity Active Passive; then in terms of system demands, analysises signalprocessing parameter, and gives the methods of key signal processing, then introduceshardware and FPGA processing design. Based on difficulities of scatterometer signalprocessing, FPGA design is optimized to solve problems like large resource comsuming,high-speed data communication, data converging etc. to implement high-performance digitalsignal processing within a single chip of FPGA.
