The current global trend of electronic information has been unstoppable, withthe popularization and the wide application of information technology, informationmanagement system is also more comprehensive and mature. It is evolving as a newdiscipline, playing its own unique features. Any unit wants to develop better, becomemore effective, it is necessary to establish an effective management mechanism andmanagement system t assist planning, promoting the development of enterprises.Currently, for the purposes of the field of education, the student’s enrollmentmanagement system is a typical information management system, mean while it isalso a system that any teaching unit can not miss. It involves the content that isimportant for school leadership and managers, so it is necessary to provide quickinquiries and plenty information. The system design and application in this paper, is acombination of the actual situation of bei jing College for Serviceman and Civilianstudent management. Software development mainly highlight threeproperties:"designed to be simple, easy to use, safe and efficient." Developmentfront-end applications and back-end server is the two main content of systemdevelopment. Back-end database has to ensure that its data consistency, integrity andsecurity; front-end applications has to achieve a simple interface, operate easily andfully functional. Considering the practice application of the system and thecharacteristics of data, I decided to use Microsoft’s Visual Basic and ACCESS asdevelopment tool. The system basically in line with the military college studentmanagement system requirements, the operation is simple, safe. Completing the dailymanagement of student information, including student information input, query,modify and delete operations and so on.
